"This course is powerful and I deeply recommend it to any leader, manager and aspiring coach. Frankly speaking, you don't expect a world-class standard of training coming from Cambodia, especially in coaching, but this was one of the best I've ever attended.

Joey's blend of social and experiential learning was technically proficient, balanced, and fluid. We were given a safe space to try and fail in the sessions, this gave me the courage to apply new techniques in my companies and my coaching clients to great success. It really was the best way to do this.

Thanks again Joey, excited to see the impact of your presence in Cambodia."

"Enrolling in CCI's coaching training has been one of the proudest investments in my coaching career. The experience was not only valuable, but also memorable, and even healing.

During the first Foundations course, I fell in love with Joey's heart-centeredness, devotion, and mastery. Despite the virtual setting, they held an exceptionally safe and nurturing space for the most learning, growth, realness and connection to happen in their container. Through CCI's world-class method, coaching emerged beyond a vocational practice, but an art of being, making the training both educational and transformational.

A year later, I came to Cambodia in two separate trips for the remaining modules of CCI's program. In that physical setting, I enjoyed even more kindness, connection, authenticity and inspiration. Given my 1-year coaching experience, the training both challenged, diversified and complemented my coaching approach. It expanded and enriched my expertise on many levels—philosophical, methodological, and spiritual.

Coming out of the training, I emerged with more confidence, authenticity, and connection within myself as a person. And as a coach, I'm more rooted in the mission and power of coaching, and more curious and dedicated to actualize its impact.

Given the richness and difference of CCI's training experience, I'd love to retake it. And I'd always recommend it."

“Participating in a two-day course on Foundations of Transformational Coaching with Joey Ra, CPCC, PCC, CPQC, I can surprisingly shift my problem-focused mindset to client-connected mindset, which benefits for both my professional and personal life.

With his experiential and reflective facilitation approach, Joey walks me deep into the Being and Doing of Coaching Competency, which allows me to experience and exercise the role as not only a coach, but also a coachee.

I highly recommend this course to inspiring leaders and coaches.

Thank Joey for your trusting coaching!”

“I am the Founder of Academy of Careers and Technology, an innovative learning academy for K-12 focusing on mastery / project based learning, entrepreneurship and well-being.

I finished Modules 1-5 of CCI's Connection-Centred Transformative Coaching in May 2024. This course had a tremendous impact one me personally, and also helped me to become a better leader for my organization. I grew my listening skills, and the ability to provide meaningful, empathic and safe spaces for myself and others to process what they are going through, and identify limiting beliefs, patterns and habits. Most importantly, I was able to nurture my own strength, strengths in others and better able to set a vision for our future.

I recommend this course others, even if they are not interested in becoming a full-time coach. This training will greatly impact and transform you to be the best version of yourself.”

“I absolutely loved the Foundations course and would recommend it to literally anyone who likes growth and development.

Let me start by saying that I was very sceptical about coaching in general, and was not overly enthusiastic despite being excited to learn more.

But the three days of focused, positive, inspiring discussions, exercises and reflections showed me great value in coaching and the positive change it brings to the world. I was absolutely blown away by how much great energy came through this online course and although I participated in many online trainings, meetings and discussions I had never felt this connected and engaged.

The coaches/facilitators were attentive and fun and created a beautiful learning environment. So all in all it was a fantastic experience, a great investment in myself and I am still benefiting greatly from it and considering further modules in the future..”

“I am a psychiatrist's resident, and I am also passionate about how I can help my patients better by improving myself. I thought coaching was about the sport or the focus on mindset. Mostly when I treat my patient, I focus only on their problem and what they want to improve their condition.

After I joined the transformative foundation of coaching with Joey. I feel more confident to connect with my patients to understand. I feel that it was so new to know those helping techniques to allow my patient to be more open, and make them become better than their problem.

Now I am grateful for participating in the program that I can apply it to my life including people around me, by listening deeply, connecting, and went through the journey together.”

“The course and the trainer led us to connect in a very deep level. I have learned a lot about self-awareness and soft skills such as using my intuition and improving the ability to connect with other people.

Before joining the course - I thought coaching is about training a specific skill, however after the course – I have realized coaching is more like teaching you how to fish rather than giving you a fish.

I would like to recommend this course for everyone who would like to explore self-growth, self-healing and learning about themselves. I think people who want to contribute and make a positive impact to others, or bring the best of themselves into the world – would benefit a lot from this course.”

“ I was really curious about the course because a friend who had taken it before told me how powerful it was and how much she had learned from it.

With my background in counseling and further training in integrative trauma therapy, I experienced coaching as a completely different and valuable approach to supporting people. What impressed me most was how quickly coaching can go deep, create clarity, and get to the heart of an issue.

The course has been personally very enriching and has also given me practical tools that I can use in everyday life, in my work, with family and friends, and in the way I communicate and listen to others.I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to grow personally and develop the skills to truly listen, ask powerful questions, and support others in finding their own clarity and way forward.

I’m excited to continue learning more about coaching and to see how I can integrate it even more into my work and everyday life. ”

“ Before I thought of coaching as a tool how to help people with their different challenges in life. I was thinking much more about helping people with their different topics and giving advices. What surprised me positively was that coaching sees people as a whole already and as coaches we would just help people discover more about themselves in order to thrive more in life.

I was very encouraged by the atmosphere that was created through the coaching/training team. It was a very natural, authentic and welcoming atmosphere. Even being with many strangers in one room it was easy to get in touch with each other. ”

“ Before this training, I always thought coaching was mainly about teaching or helping people with football, sports, or other specific activities, or simply walking alongside them. However, after taking this course, I realized that coaching is much more than I had thought. I have learned that the goal of coaching is to help people look at situations from different perspectives. It is about deep listening, asking powerful questions, and helping people see things differently from the way they have been seeing the world around them.

I really appreciate how you taught us that coaching is not about simply giving people answers or telling them what to do. Instead, it is about creating space for people to think, discover, and find their own solutions. When people are able to see something differently, it can lead to real transformation in their lives.

Thank you again for your time, patience, and the knowledge you shared with us. This training has given me a new understanding of coaching, and I believe what I have learned will be very useful in my work with my team and the communities we serve. ”

“ Interesting Takeaways from the Coach Lesson: Accountability Follow-up – 5 QuestionsThe Accountability Follow-up – 5 Questions lesson really influenced me and helped me create space to reflect on my emotions and understand myself better. I got to know more about what I feel, what I think, what I want, and what I can learn from my experiences.

Before this lesson, I had never really trained myself to think deeply about my feelings or take time to reflect on my thoughts and needs. However, these five questions encouraged me to slow down and consider every aspect and detail of a situation.

I was surprised to discover new things about myself that I had never noticed before. This lesson taught me that taking time to reflect can help me better understand my emotions, thoughts, and personal growth. It also encouraged me to continue practicing self-reflection and being more aware of myself. ”

“ What I have taken away from coaching training with CCI is about Acknowledgment: It’s helps me to recognize who the client is, with what they have done or achieved. Through the training I have learned that as a coach we listen to find quality, strength, and value of client through their words and actions. We recognize them for who they are not on what they do. It is really helpful to my practical supervision to help the client to discover their strengths and value and also to know something meaningful about themselves. ”
