ICF-aligned Coaching Training in Cambodia
Why Train to a Standard

Coaching is unregulated. Anyone in Cambodia can call themselves a coach tomorrow, and many do. Most have no training, and in a session they do what comes naturally: they wing it and give advice from their own experience.
This advise is given without understanding the person receiving it. It worked for the person giving it. Whether it suits the person in front of them, and what stops that person from acting on it, is never explored, because the conversation never gets there. A trained coach gets there. That is the difference between a coach and a well-meaning adviser, and it is the difference clients pay for, and it is the difference that generates long term results.
CCI trains coaches against the ICF Core Competencies, with observed coaching and oral assessment before certification.
Graduates of CCI coach to a standard recognised internationally, and they learn it in the only place in Cambodia where that training happens in a room, with practice and feedback, rather than theory read on a screen.
"You don’t expect a world-class standard of training coming from Cambodia, especially in coaching, but this was one of the best trainings I’ve ever
attended."

“I’m really impressed with the quality and practicality of the training which allows me to learn so much in a short time periods.
I recommend all managers and leaders in organization to experience this course to elevate your coaching skills to unlock potential in yourself and others in the organization.
I used to not believe in these methods, but seen it work with my own eyes on how we can transform team, and individuals and make life long memories, and lasting impact if we as leaders spend time to care and plan for their growth and wellbeing.”
— Sereivuth Tuon, Director at Prudential Life Assurance Cambodia

"I would highly recommend Joey as a coach for individuals, or as a trainer for teams and businesses. Joey created an environment in which all participants (of varying backgrounds and seniority) felt relaxed and open to discussing their work challenges.
The session was engaging, insightful, and incredibly helpful. It truly broadened our team's horizons through thoughtful self-reflection, equipping us with valuable tools to enhance our workplace dynamics.”
— Tom Hesketh
ExecutiveDirector, Eurocham

“I am the Founder of Academy of Careers and Technology, an innovative learning academy for K-12 focusing on mastery / project based learning, entrepreneurship and well-being.
I finished Modules 1-5 of CCI's Connection-Centred Transformative Coaching in May 2024. This course had a tremendous impact one me personally, and also helped me to become a better leader for my organization. I grew my listening skills, and the ability to provide meaningful, empathic and safe spaces for myself and others to process what they are going through, and identify limiting beliefs, patterns and habits. Most importantly, I was able to nurture my own strength, strengths in others and better able to set a vision for our future.
I recommend this course others, even if they are not interested in becoming a full-time coach. This training will greatly impact and transform you to be the best version of yourself.”
— Martalia Lo, Founder of Academy of Careers and Technology School

"This course is powerful and I deeply recommend it to any leader, manager and aspiring coach. Frankly speaking, you don't expect a world-class standard of training coming from Cambodia, especially in coaching, but this was one of the best I've ever attended.
Joey's blend of social and experiential learning was technically proficient, balanced, and fluid. We were given a safe space to try and fail in the sessions, this gave me the courage to apply new techniques in my companies and my coaching clients to great success. It really was the best way to do this."
— Galeno Chua, Founding Principal at The Idea

"CCI was engaging and extremely knowledgeable, balancing interactive elements, condensing learning, and teaching new models really well. Thanks to the course, it equipped me with skills to better nurture and lead others. It was transformational!"
— Sharliza Rahman, Chief Brand & Digital Officer, Forte Insurance
